Ground Handling Safety Symposium

The NATA Ground Handling Safety Symposium is a two-day event developed by the NATA Safety Committee to promote safety at FBOs and other general aviation ground handling bus inesses/operations. The Ground Handling Safety Symposium was developed by the NATA Safety Committee to promote safety at FBOs and other general aviation ground handling businesses/operations.  The symposium is designed for safety professionals, including directors of safety, line service managers, operations managers, and flight departments — any stakeholder responsible for ensuring the safe handling of aircraft. The symposium will also give attendees the opportunity to network with fellow safety professionals from across the industry.

The symposium was developed by the NATA Safety Committee in order to help explore safety in a collaborative environment allowing participants to interact with fellow ground handling professionals. The sessions will explore ground handling safety from numerous perspectives and will allow for informal discussions on industry trends and issues.
