NATA Offers House Its Views On Air Traffic Control Reform & AIRR Act

NATA provided members of the House Transportation Committee its views on air traffic control reform and H.R. 4441, the Aviation Innovation, Reform, and Reauthorization (AIRR) Act. The centerpiece of the AIRR Act is the creation of a user fee-funded, federally chartered, not-for-profit air traffic control corporation. The Corporation’s fees will be determined by a Board of Directors dominated by the major airlines.

NATA Will Not Support “Leap of Faith” FAA Reauthorization Proposal

he following is a statement by National Air Transportation Association President and CEO Thomas L. Hendricks following today’s release by the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee of the Aviation Innovation, Reform and Reauthorization (AIRR) Act, legislation to reauthorize the Federal Aviation Administration. The Committee is expected to consider the legislation on February 11.
