NATA Statement In Support Of Renewing Bonus Depreciation
Alexandria, VA, March 24, 2014 – Today, the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) joined other leading national trade associations including the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) and the U.S. Chamber in a letter to the congressional leadership in support of renewing bonus depreciation for 2014. The issue is expected to be considered shortly before the Senate Finance Committee.
The following is a statement by National Air Transportation Association President and CEO Thomas L. Hendricks:
"NATA supports the prompt extension of bonus depreciation in 2014. Bonus depreciation incentivizes NATA member companies to make immediate, job creating capital investments in the U.S. economy. NATA members employ workers in highly-skilled, good paying jobs and Congress should focus its attention on renewing provisions such as bonus depreciation as a means to encourage growth in this important sector.”
