NATA's Statement on Presidential Election
Washington, DC, November 6, 2024 – NATA (the National Air Transportation Association) issued the following statement on the election of Donald J. Trump to serve as the 47th president of the United States:
“On behalf of our aviation business members, NATA congratulates President-elect Trump and Vice President-elect Vance on their elections to the White House. NATA looks forward to partnering with the new Administration to advance issues important to both aviation businesses and to our nation, including the deployment of emerging aviation technologies and the modernization of our National Airspace System. Business aviation has a proven record of providing valuable, safe air transportation and critical public benefits to communities across the country, and President-elect Trump has a unique opportunity to preserve and enhance these vital transportation services provided by NATA's aviation business members. We look forward to meeting with the transition team to discuss these and other areas where we can work together to strengthen the American economy, demonstrate global leadership in aviation safety, and safeguard the NAS,” stated NATA President and CEO Curt Castagna.
