Presidential TFR NOTAM Issued for PBI Area on February 3-6, 2017
On
February 2nd, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a VIP
Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) FDC 7/0643 for the
Palm Beach area beginning February 3, 2017 and ending on February 6, 2017. The
NOTAM states TSA screening will be available from February 4-5, 2017 from 0800
local until 1700 local, and February 6, 2017 from 0800 local until 1000 local.
To help accommodate aircraft arriving at Palm Beach International Airport (KPBI),
the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) created inbound gateway
screening airports at Orlando International Airport (KMCO: Signature Flight
Support/Atlantic Aviation), Fort Lauderdale International Airport (KFLL: Shelt
Air), Dulles International Airport (KIAD: Dulles Jet Center/Signature Flight
Support/Jet Aviation), Teterboro Airport (KTEB: Signature South), and
Westchester Co. Airport (KHPN: Taxi Way Charlie). Outbound gateway screening is
available at PBI at the following locations: Signature Flight Support, Atlantic
Aviation, NetJets, and Jet Aviation. All passengers over 18 years of age must
present a valid pictured government issued identification.
