Charter Industry Loses Long-time Advocate and Friend 

Alexandria, VA, May 13, 2014 – The Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) and the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) were saddened to learn of the passing of Jim Christiansen.

Christiansen was a former chairman of NATA, and a founding member and chairman of the ACSF.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend and colleague,” said NATA President and CEO Thomas L. Hendricks. “Jim was a tireless advocate for our industry and our deepest sympathies go out to his family.”

“Jim was a visionary,” said ACSF President Bryan Burns. “His leadership and dedication helped form the ACSF.  Jim had a positive impact on the lives of many of us in the aviation community. Our industry has lost a person of great integrity and talent.”
