Representative Pat Tiberi (R-OH) reintroduced legislation to make permanent the immediate expensing of 50% of new investments in equipment and software. Immediate expensing, or bonus depreciation, expired at the end of 2014. Similar legislation was approved by the House of Representatives in 2014.
